Hey all.
Sure you are all enjoying the changing of the leaves, well at least those of you in Manitoba and Michigan...the rest of you I can't speak for. Over here we are still enjoying summer like weather. Raining quite a lot still but getting more sunny days than we have in some weeks. The soccer pitch was dry for Sunday soccer for the first time in months it seems last Sunday. Finally can come home and not have to spend 2 hours washing down boots and clothes. Nice change.
Working from home today as I spend this week getting prepared for our upcoming TESOL training starting on the 10th. Just thinking of a few things we could use prayer for as I am working on my computer...first, we are still in the midst of finding and testing (English proficiency) students for this upcoming training. It is not unusual for everything to come together at the last second here, but we still would love your prayers for a good enrollment (we like to have about 10-12 students at least). Praise God for a smooth and profitable training, as all 12 students finished their course work and did a great job teaching English in their teaching practicums. We had the graduation on the 1st of October.
Also both I and Sam Kuka (the director of ACT) are feeling tired from the last 5 weeks, and this training will be demanding as we have to commute about 1 hour on motorcycle every day to get there; through heavy traffic (it's only about 25 kilometers but it takes an hour). So safety on the bike is also a concern I have, as well as one that Mary worries about.
Ya, we're thinking of putting more prayer requests on the blog from time to time, just to keep you guys up to date with our concerns and praises. Thanks for all your support and your interest in what's happening with us.
