We had Maya's 2-month appointment today with the pediatrician and were happy to find out that Maya is up to 10 lbs 4 ounces. She's gained an ounce a day since our last weigh in three weeks ago. We were very happy to find that out. Thanks God! She was also measured (approximately) at 22.5 inches. They are oh, so scientific with their length measurements. We think she's even taller and will have to do our own measurements. She is a long one. Anyway, she looking great according to the doctor and there are no worries about her length, weight, or head size. They are all well within the "normal" ranges.
She also got three immunizations, one orally and two shots. Mary made me be the bad guy and hold her during this procedure. Needless to say it wasn't her favorite, but she wasn't that mad for that long either.
Long and short, we are thankful to God for a healthy, growing baby.
