New Job
Just wanted to let you in on a new exciting development for Mary and I. I went in yesterday to visit with the head for ESL in the Gresham-Barlow school district and she offered me a half-time (every other day) job for the remainder of the school year (through the middle of June). It will be time split between two different high schools. Wasn't expecting a job offer like this, but here it is. Praise God! Even things we don't think to ask for happen. Crazy. At this point it looks to be a done deal with the paperwork all in order. The contract starts on the 29th of January, but already next week I will be shadowing the teacher I'm replacing to see what she's doing and to get to know her classes. I will also be subbing a few days in the next week or two as she is out for professional development. Another thing is even with this job I can still substitute a day here or there on my 'off days'.

PTL for the new job nathan. That is fantabulous! Glad to hear that things are good there. We are doing well here in Tennessee, but not getting much sleep as little Rebekah Noel arrived on Christmas morning, can you believe that! God has a sense of humor. Anyway, glad to hear the news.
