A little friendly manitoba in the pacific northwest

Got some snow today, not a great picture but it's the view from our balcony. Pretty slick out on the roads, especially since every driver here spins like the dickens to get moving, instead of accelerating slowly. So as I was running over to hollywood video to bring back a dvd we rented (the illusionist - good film) I noticed a car that was spinning out at this intersection (there was a slight incline so getting going from a standstill was hard). I put the dvd in my mouth and proceeded to give him a little push - took a few minutes to get him moving and by then the light was green and he was off. Courtesy wave and gone. I dropped off the movie. On the way back I thought, "it's a beautiful day, why not stay around and see if there's any other people that need a push." It was right around rush hour so there turned out to be a lot of cars that needed a little encouragement.
